I have written <a href=\"https:\/\/sustainingplace.com\/index.php\/books\/\">three photo-intensive books<\/a> and numerous articles about understanding places as the intersection of built, sociocultural, and natural environments. I worked as an environmental and land use lawyer for 34 years, a part-time academic (including visiting scholar roles in Sweden and Scotland), and a 2018 Fulbright Specialist in Australia.<\/p>\n<p>Over the years, I have exhibited photos at local coffee shops, in association with book events and auctions, and at public libraries.<\/p>\n<p>My Substack,<a href=\"https:\/\/resurgencejourney.substack.com\"> <em>Resurgence<\/em><\/a><span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/resurgencejourney.substack.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>: A Journey<\/em><\/a>, appears at least once a<\/span>\u00a0week.
