Most everywhere, the need for urban retrofits and recalibration to avoid disease spread was already <a href=\"\/05\/31\/the-recalibration-paradox-nevermore\/\">challenging enough<\/a>. Then, of course, came civil unrest in Minneapolis, Atlanta, Seattle, Portland, and more; coronovirus was joined by the urban impacts of an insidious racial injustice&#8211;what many termed a second pandemic that became more complex as the summer went on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Which leads us to revisit  place-healing on a larger scale, improving on a concepts we first discussed <a href=\"https:\/\/sustainingplace.com\/index.php\/2020\/06\/03\/next-comes-place-healing\/\">here<\/a> in early June.
